Martedì 30 ottobre il lungometraggio NIJOLE è stato presentato, in anteprima mondiale, al 61° DOK Leipzig (Next Masters Competition).
It’s basically a son’s look at a mother whose independence and critical social spirit were his constant inspiration. Sandro Bozzolo and his team approach their protagonists with restraint, adapt the montage to their rhythm and focus on the rooms of their creative work. The son takes his mother by the hand, as does this story of an outer and inner journey with the audience. Which events continue to shape one’s life and which had better be forgotten?

Il progetto è il risultato di un percorso decennale, il frutto di un personale cammino di ricerca intrapreso intorno alla figura di Antanas Mockus.
Prodotto da Dagne Vilziunaite (Justamoment) e Meibi (Max Chicco), con il supporto del Lihtuanian Film Centre e della Film Commission Torino Piemonte, il film arriverà in Italia nei primi mesi del 2019.
In parallelo alla presentazione del film, il 24 novembre verrà inaugurata al Museo della Ceramica di Mondovì, partner del progetto, la mostra WHAT WOULD AN ARTIST DO?
